This privacy policy sets out how the Memorial Trustees use and protects any information that you give when making contact with any member directly, through our website: www.armyapprenticememorial.org.uk
or by filling in a donation form and sending it to us with your donation.
All Trustees are committed to ensuring that your privacy is always protected.
We usually collect the following information when you make an enquiry and/or a donation:
a) Name.
b) Contact information including email address and phone number.
c) Demographic information such as address, intake, years attended as an apprentice and if you are a UK registered tax payer.
d) Amount donated
We require this information to answer any questions you have for us and correctly administer receipt and safe keeping of all donations received and to administer the Gift Aid submission to the Inland Revenue. This information is collated as follows:
e) A listing is kept of all donations received for acknowledging receipt, audit and security of monies received.
f) A record of donations received with a signed statement confirming receipt from a UK tax payer under the Inland Revenue’s Gift Aid scheme.
g) A listing of all donations for commemorative tablets, together with the data required for engraving the personel details by the contracted Stonemason.
h) From time to time, we may contact you by email, phone, or mail.
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we have collected.
All payments to us are handed on for banking within the No 2 account of the Arborfield Old Boys’ Association.
We use ‘cookies’ to track visitors to our website for statistical purposes. Your site visit sessions do not include any personal information. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to visitor needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.
