The Annual Reunion Weekend of the Army Apprentices National Memorial Trust will go ahead with the event this year at the NMA over the weekend of 4th & 5th September.
In view of the current pandemic advice, this year’s event will be slightly different. The agenda will be as follows:
Saturday 4th September – AGM commencing at 1300hrs. (meeting room to be confirmed).
Due to our regular hotel not opening until October, it is recommended that attendees individually book into the Mercure Newton Park Hotel, Newton Solney. DE150SS.
Fifteen rooms have been set aside at a discounted rate. Booking by telephone on: 01283305012 (option 1) Reference ‘ARMY210904’ must be quoted.
Negotiated rates are: Double £85, Single £80, evening dinner £25 pp
Sunday 5th September – 12 noon, Drumhead Service at the Army Apprentices National Memorial, led by Rev Gary Kelly.
Music will be provided by the Army Apprentices Pipe Band.
It is important that those attending & booked into the hotel, let Johnny McGahan ([email protected]) know, because he will attempt to get a private room set aside to that everyone can join together for the evening dinner.
The Army Apprentice National Memorial is at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas.
